• Book a discovery call via our booking calendar
• Send us an email directly
• Sign a client agreement or accept a quote
• Opt in to receive SMS messages from us

• Phone number (including mobile number for SMS communications)
• Business name and website URL
• Trade or service type
• Location or service area
• Any information you voluntarily provide in form fields or messages

2. How we use your data

We use your personal data to:

• Respond to your enquiry or booking request

We do not use your data for automated profiling. We do not send unsolicited marketing communications. Any communication beyond your requested service requires your explicit consent.

3. SMS messaging and opt-in

How we collect SMS consent

We collect consent to send SMS messages only through an explicit, unchecked opt-in checkbox on our booking form at forgewebonline.com/learn-more. This checkbox is unchecked by default. You must actively tick it to consent. Opting in to SMS is entirely voluntary and is not required to book a call or use our services.

What SMS messages we send

If you opt in, FORGE may send you the following types of SMS messages:

• Booking confirmations and appointment reminders
• Follow-up messages related to your discovery call or project enquiry
• Responses to questions or requests you raise with us directly

We do not send promotional broadcast SMS campaigns to opted-in contacts.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies depending on the stage of your enquiry or project. Typically no more than 3 to 5 messages per booking or enquiry cycle. You will not receive recurring automated marketing messages.

Message and data rates

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile network carrier and plan. FORGE does not charge for SMS messages.

How to opt out

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any SMS you receive from FORGE. You may also email jake@forgewebonline.com to request immediate removal from our SMS list. Opt-out requests are processed without delay. You will not be penalised or lose access to services for opting out.

4. Cookies and tracking

Our website uses only essential cookies required for basic functionality, such as storing your cookie consent preference. We do not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. See our Cookie Policy for full details.

Our booking calendar is embedded from GoHighLevel (GHL). GHL may set cookies necessary for the booking widget to operate. These are functional and not used for advertising.

5. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including:

• All data transmitted via our website is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
• Access to our CRM and contact data is protected by strong credentials and two-factor authentication
• We do not store payment card details on our systems
• Access to personal data is restricted to only those involved in delivering your service
• SMS opt-in records are stored securely within our CRM platform

No method of transmission over the internet is entirely secure. While we take all reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security and are not liable for breaches beyond our reasonable control.

6. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with the following third parties only as necessary to deliver our services:

• GoHighLevel (GHL) — our CRM, booking calendar, and SMS platform. GHL processes data on our behalf under their data processing agreement.
• Email service providers — used to deliver transactional and project-related emails.
• Payment processors — payment data is handled directly by the payment provider. We do not store card details.

All third-party processors are required to handle your data securely and in accordance with applicable data protection law. SMS opt-in data is never shared with any third party for marketing purposes under any circumstances.

7. How long we keep your data

• Booking and enquiry data: retained for up to 2 years from last contact
• Client project data: retained for 6 years from project completion (financial records requirement)
• SMS opt-in records: retained while you remain an active contact or until you opt out
• Cookie preferences: stored in your browser until cleared

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct any inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion of your data where we have no legal obligation to retain it
• Opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP or contacting us directly
• Withdraw consent for any processing based on your consent
• Data portability — receive a copy of your data in a portable format
• Object to certain types of processing

9. Age restriction

Our services are intended for business owners and individuals aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The most recent version will always be published at forgewebonline.com/privacy.html with an updated effective date. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
